Family Releases Footage of 9-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Liverpool

The family of 9-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel released footage of the child and her father at a Christmas market in Liverpool, England, on September 6, two weeks after she was fatally shot on the night of August 22.

In the footage, released via Merseyside Police, Olivia and her father can be seen riding a carousel in the city center.

Pratt-Korbel was killed as her mother struggled with a gunman at the door of their Liverpool home on Monday, August 22.

In a statement accompanying the video, her family said: "Words can’t express the pain we are going through after Olivia was so cruelly snatched away from us. Those responsible need to know what they have done.

“Olivia’s future has been cruelly snatched away from her and we have been deprived of a real light in our lives … We want to urge others who may have evidence to keep coming forward with information which could help put those responsible for our Olivia’s murder behind bars," the statement read.

Police have so far arrested four suspects in connection with the murder.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. A 41-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. A fourth man who was arrested on September 4 was still being interviewed by detectives as of September 5, Merseyside Police said.
