'Famous' McDonald's order will be a UK first
A new meal, picked by artist Stormzy, is coming to McDonald’s, but only for a limited time. The award-winning artist has teamed up with the fast-food giant to “make history” with the first Famous Order in the UK and Ireland.
McDonald's launched Famous Orders in the US, spotlighting stars like musicians Travis Scott, J Balvin, Saweetie, BTS and Mariah Carey as well as YouTuber Kai Cenat, who all revealed their go-to menu orders for fans to try for themselves.
But now foodies in the UK are getting in on the action as Croydon musician Stormzy becomes the first celeb to grace the McDonald's menu on British and Irish soil. He said: “I am so gassed for my McDonald’s order to be the first ever ‘Famous Order’ in the UK and Ireland. I never thought I’d have my own order on the official menu. That’s mad.”

The meal features nine chicken McNuggets, a side of fries, two BBQ dips, and a Sprite Zero to wash it all down with. Fans can also choose either an Oreo McFlurry or an apple pie as their dessert.
Every Stormzy meal purchased in the restaurant will come with a set of premium limited-edition stickers. Whereas if you order through the app, users will have a chance of winning a Stormzy tumbler, posters and pin badges. It will only be available for a limited time from February 12.
Chief marketing officer Ben Fox said: “Stormzy is a McDonald's fan through and through and a true Global icon. This makes him the perfect superstar to bring to life the fact that no matter how famous you are, everyone has a favourite, go to, McDonald’s order.
“Introducing Stormzy's signature order is an incredible moment for the brand; two icons colliding, giving everyone the chance to eat just like Mike - Stormzy’s real name - McDonald’s and, if they are lucky, to nab some exclusive branded merch.” The announcement comes just a day after the company revealed its February Valentine's Day range.
