A football fan who collapsed at a Weston-super-Mare AFC match is at home recovering. What's more, his spirits have been boosted by the fact that he won £213 in the club's 50/50 draw.

The gentleman was taken ill at the match between the Seagulls and Aveley at the Woodpring Staduim on Saturday, October 26. There was praise for the professionalism of the stewards and first aiders who helped him before paramedics arrived at the scene.

He is now reportedly feeling a lot better and is happy, having been given his winnings. Additionally, the home side also beat visitors Aveley 4-1 in a dominant display of swift, dynamic attacking football.
