Fancy owning Ryan Gosling's used chewing gum? Because you CAN!

There are some odd things that people will do to get close to their favourite celebrities. But buying a piece of gum that’s been chewed on really has to be up there.

Thanks to Matt Richardson, you – yes, YOU – could be the lucky owner of some of Ryan Gosling’s DNA thanks to an auction the Virgin radio presenter is hosting. Imagine all the things you could do with THAT.

Ryan dropped in to the studios earlier during his promotional tour for La La Land. He left Matt with a rather icky gift – a bit of chud he’d already chewed and stuck to the packet.

Matt decided to maximise on this rarest of treats and promptly set up an ebay auction for the gum with all proceeds going to The Alzheimer’s Society.

Matt wrote on the ebay listing: “It’s been very well chewed and probably has little of the original minty taste. Be warned if you decide to buy this to chew yourself, he wasn’t very well when he came into the studio.

“Unless you want to catch the lurgy from Gosling, that is.”

Hmm. It’s not unappealing, is it?

So far, there have been 12 bids on the gum and it’s currently reached the dizzy heights of £11.

We’ll be keeping our eyes on this one…
