Fans baffled by Jude Law's bizarre new hair

Poor old Jude Law’s hair probably gets more column inches than his movies these days, and his latest ‘do is no exception.

The 43-year-old actor put in an appearance at the premiere of his new TV series in Rome recently – and once again, his hair grabbed all the headlines.

The baffling barnet, which the Mirror describes as pulling off “the impressive feat of marrying both fringe and quiff at the same time” appears to almost defy gravity in its splendour.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the new TV show is called The Young Pope. Jude plays the part of a, erm, young pope called Lenny Belardo who becomes the first ever American to become the head of the Catholic church.

A couple of years ago rumours were rife that the actor had undergone a hair transplant after he put in a hirsute appearance at the Toronto Film Festival – despite being seen with a bald spot on holiday the year before.

So is it a weave, a wig or was that shiny bonce we once spotted just a trick of the light?

Rather like Jude’s hair, the plot thickens.
