Fans brand Mark Owen 'unrecognisable' during Take That's performance on 'Strictly Come Dancing'
Is that you Mark Owen? Because fans want the old Mark, ahem, back for good.
Last night, Take That appeared on Strictly Come Dancing to perform their new single Out Of Our Heads, with pro-dancers in striking black and white attire.
But it was not the stagecraft that caught the viewers’ eye, but that old chap on the right hand pedestal.
With long hair and a beard, it turned out it was Mark Owen. But viewers remained unconvinced.
For reference, here’s the Mark we know and love:

Twitter was soon awash with judgement.

And those who did recognise him weren’t feeling the new look at all…
I appreciate I haven’t kept up with the Take That line-up in a while, but when did Qui-Gon Jinn replace Mark Owen? #strictly2018 #strictly pic.twitter.com/gjMbLeZ6Gq

At what point did Mark Owen become the least-attractive Take That member? That beard is terrible. #Strictly #scd

Let’s just say that the messages of support were a tad… scarce. Sorry Mark, might be back to the drawing board with this one.
