A Los Angeles judge ruled to terminate Britney Spears’s conservatorship during a hearing on Friday, November 12, after more than 13 years.

Judge Brenda J Penny returned the pop star’s legal rights, ending the conservatorship that supervised Spears and her estate since 2008, the Los Angeles Times reported.
