Fans mock Cold Feet over airport gaffe
You’ve got to feel sorry for Cold Feet.
First it was James Nesbitt’s formidable eyebrows hindering viewers’ ability to follow the plot, and now a huge location gaffe has taken the edge off a scene which should’ve had fans reaching for their tissues.
As James Nesbitt’s character Adam told his partner Angela, played by Karen David, that he wouldn’t be following her to Singapore, viewers were a little distracted by her decision to hand over her passport and boarding pass at the ARRIVALS desk.
Oops.
Naturally, eagle-eyed viewers were keen to point out the blooper on Twitter, with one writing “Surely @ITV it’s Departures for outbound travel? #ColdFeet’ and another pointing out that “She won’t get far going through arrivals.”
I always get on a plane by going through the no entry arrivals entrance! Best way to avoid the queues! #ColdFeet

Why is Angela leaving at the arrivals? Cant she see the big no entry signs? #ColdFeet

Er… why is Angela going through the arrivals gate? #ColdFeet

Still, it’s an easy mistake to make. It’s not as if there was a HUGE sign clearing stating ‘ARRIVALS’ with a number of no entry signs right above Angela’s head. Oh.
Whether Angela actually made it to Singapore remains unclear, but it’s not the first time Cold Feet fans have been less-than-impressed with a mistake on the show.
Viewers were peeved last week when Fay Ripley’s character Jenny described Manchester as “Britain’s second city” – which everybody knows is actually Birmingham, right?
It’s almost as if they’re doing it on purpose.
