Farm Girl are selling a cannabis oil hot chocolate

If your hot drink is lacking a little something, this London café is offering an extra kick — in the form of cannabis extract.

Farm Girl has introduced a matcha hot chocolate to their menu which contains hazelnut (or almond) milk, peppermint, matcha, chocolate powder and cannabidiol (CBD) oil.

But it’s not stopping there: customers have the option to infuse any of their drinks with the oil, which has been extracted from the flowers and buds of hemp plants.

As part of their campaign to raise awareness for mental health, Farm Girl will be selling the cannabis extract at all three of their sites; in Notting Hill, Soho and Chelsea.

CBD oil has been hailed for its medicinal benefits, acting as a natural treatment for epilepsy, depression and anxiety.

Jumping on the growing trend of CBD, Farm Girl joins other London restaurants using the oil like Maison Bab who offer a Gin and Chronic, Marshmallowist who sell an infused marshmallow and By Chloe who boast a selection puddings containing cannabis extract.
