The Fashion Awards 2018: Kendall Jenner, Victoria Beckham and Kaia Gerber lead best dressed on the red carpet

The annual Fashion Awards is always bound to bring glitz, glamour and lashings of high fashion, but, 2018's red carpet truly exceeded expectations.

Arguably its most star-studded guest list to date, world renowned designers, models and fashion innovators arrived at the prestigious awards, alongside a whole host of A-listers including Lana Del Ray, Penelope Cruz and Paloma Faith.

The red carpet leading up to the Royal Albert Hall was graced with an impressive sartorial spectacle.

Kendall Jenner made the most head-turning entrance on the night, taking naked dresses to whole new level in a see-through glittering gold gown by Julien Macdonald.

Metallic dresses were indeed a big trend on the red carpet.

Jourdan Dunn and Winnie Harlow stunned in opulent sequin gowns with feather detail, Penelope Cruz wore a tight fitting silver number by Chanel and Naomi Harris cut a retro figure in an embellished mini dress.

Victoria Beckham, however, stuck to her style roots wearing a simple floor-length black gown from her eponymous brands spring/summer 2019 collection.

The former Spice Girl turn designer, who was nominated for British Designer of the Year Womenswear on the night also arrived with dapper gents David and Brooklyn Beckham.

Others chose to make a sartorial statement at the event that celebrates fashion and creativity.

Kate Moss wowed in an emerald dress with matching platforms, Alek Wek wore a Emilia Wickstead frock adorned with a enormous pink bow and Paloma Faith's frothy pastel pink creation by Dilara Findikoglu could not go unmissed.

As for most fashionable family? The Gerber's won hands down, perfectly coordinating on the red carpet.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford wore a classic black dress that featured a thigh-high split, meanwhile, her husband Rande Gerber and son, Presley Gerber, looked dapper in matching all-black suits.

It was youngest Kaia Gerber, however, who stole the show, dazzling in a heavily adorned dress by Alexander McQueen, which featured dramatic cut-outs to reveal trousers underneath.
