Fast and the Furious 8 – aka F8 or F8 of the Furious – might have had its hype stolen by star Ludacris, whose latest music video for his track 'Vitamin D' features him with a giant CGI'd chest that would even give The Rock envy.

Yep, it's easy to forget that Ludacris is originally a musician and not just a sassy sidekick for the barmy motor franchise. Before he began driving cars between buildings with lots of frowny bald men, he made classic like 'Move Bitch' and 'Area Codes'... with other frowny bald men.

His track samples lingerie obsessive Sisqo and his track 'Thong Song', and also features non-conventional spelling fan Ty Dolla $ign. During the video Ludacris appears with a giant muscular chest.

Although Ludacris' real chest does feature later on in the video, it hasn't taken social media long to focus in on the big, bulging talking point.

In related news, the singer and his Fast and Furious fam have opened up their film to the globe. You can read some of the review reactions here, along with the Digital Spy verdict.

Meanwhile Vin Diesel has cleared up all those rumours about a feud between him and the nicest man in Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson.

It's also been rumoured that a major character could make a comeback to the franchise, and newcomer Scott Eastwood has said he can sense the spirit of Paul Walker on set, who died in a car crash before finishing the previous instalment Fast & Furious 7.

Have you ever thought about how well-suited Vin Diesel is for a franchise like Fast and the Furious? He's literally named after fuel. He couldn't be any more perfect unless his acting name was Handbrake Rev-McClutch – although sadly his real name is the much less exciting Mark Sinclair.

If you need to catch up on some Fast and Furious lore really, erm, fast, then be sure to check out our official guide on which order you need to watch them in, because it's more confusing than Vin Diesel's obsession with karaoke.

Fast and Furious 8 pulls up in UK cinemas from April 12.
