Clear some space in your schedule and prepare to spend a lot of time on your sofa, because Sky Cinema is dedicating a whole channel to the Fast & Furious films.

Yup, all seven films will be played back to back from April 8 to 17 to celebrate the release of the eighth film in the franchise.

It's not the first time Sky Cinema has been generous with channel dedications Star Wars, Star Trek and Harry Potter have all had the same treatment.

As if that wasn't enough, viewers will also get an exclusive clip from the upcoming film and a featurette with star Vin Diesel and screenwriter Chris Morgan.

Both the clip and featurette will be shown on April 8 at 8pm on Sky Cinema Fast & Furious - and they'll later be available on demand as well, along with all the films.

The latest chapter in the franchise looks like another hit after advanced screenings for critics were positive.

In this one, it seems that criminal drag-racer-turned-actual-superhero Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) goes rogue and turns bad.

"This is a completely different story than you've ever experience in the Fast franchise," director F Gary Gray recently teased. "Dom is always about family, and with this storyline he's going up against the team and he's going up against the family."

Fast and Furious 8 - also known as The Fate of the Furious - speeds into cinemas on April 17. Watch a trailer below:
