FATBOY Slim has confirmed he is to feature in the third and final series of Derry Girls.
The Hove DJ landed a cameo role in the hit sitcom after revealing he was a “big fan” of the show, which is set in Derry during the Troubles.
The final season of Derry Girls begins at 9.15pm tonight on Channel 4.
In an interview on The Argus Podcast, Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, revealed that viewers will be able to see him in the show, but didn’t elaborate as to what character he will be playing.
“I’m not allowed to say a huge amount, so I don’t give anything away,” he said.
“But yes, you could possibly see me in season three. But that’s all I can say.”
The 58-year-old was also spotted wearing a jacket reading “Derry Girls Season 3” on it during a promotional video for his upcoming shows on Brighton beach.
The DJ is to headline the On the Beach festival in Brighton on Friday, July 22, and Thursday, July 21.
His performance will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Big Beach Boutique concert, described as the “biggest event Sussex has ever seen”.
Tickets to both days of the event have sold out.
