Father films wrong girl at his daughter's graduation

This is the astonishing moment a proud father filmed the wrong young woman at her graduation ceremony.

The clip, which quickly went viral, shows how the proud parent focused his cameraphone on one brunette as she walked down the gangway to ceremonial music.

Then another brunette emerged to the right of the frame, pointing out to her father that he has filmed the wrong person.

Laughter can be heard as the man admits: "I got carried away."

Georgia Wilde, who was graduating from the University of the West of England, posted the video on Twitter, writing: "My dad legit filmed the wrong girl going down the [aisle] at my graduation... sums up my Dad."

"Literally I walked past like ALRIGHT DAD," she said in a later tweet.

The footage swiftly spread, and was shared more than 25,000 times.

"Dad would probably kill me for showing him up on the internet," Ms Wilde added.
