Police rescued two fawns who were stuck in a swimming pool in Parma, Ohio, on August 30.
Footage of the rescue shows the Parma police attempting to wrangle the fawns using pool nets. “You’re no cowboy,” an officer quips. The police safely get the deer out of the water, with the pair bleating and bounding off.
The police department wrote on Facebook: “The homeowner reported that the deer were in her pool for over an hour while she unsuccessfully tried to get them out before calling the police. The officers were able to successfully catch and release both deer. The deer were tired, but happy, as you can hear them let out a ‘cheer’ of appreciation after being rescued!” Credit: City of Parma Police Department via Storyful
