FBI nominee Wray tells hearing: ‘No one asked me for any kind of loyalty oath’

President Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Christopher Wray, said during his confirmation hearing Wednesday that he expects to be fully independent from the executive branch if he’s appointed. Wray said, “No one asked me for any kind of loyalty oath at any point during this process.”
