Fear boss won't rule out shocking Madison fan theory
Fear the Walking Dead's co-showrunner Andrew Chambliss isn't ruling out that shocking fan theory about Madison's (Kim Dickens) fate.
So far in season four, we have seen plenty of Madison in the past timeline as she sets up the new community at baseball stadium Dell Diamond in Texas, but no sign of her in the present day timeline.
It's left some fans worried that she's died at some point in between the two timelines and the devastating climax to the latest episode hasn't set fans' minds at ease.
SPOILERS ahead.
Fans were shocked as 'Good Out Here' ended with Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) fatally shot by Charlie to avenge his murder of his Vulture nemesis Ennis, so surely that means they won't kill off TWO original cast members?
"We would say – and this sort of speaks to Nick's death, too, even though he died in this episode – that there is still more story to tell in the dual narratives that we're telling," Chambliss told TVLine.
"We don't want to give away anything that's coming, but there's definitely a lot more story to tell in the flashback."
Dickens herself hasn't exactly been reassuring fans that Madison is still alive in the Fear universe. "You know what? This is the way we tell the stories. I can't give away anything about that. I can't tell you to worry or not worry," she teased.
"The storytelling is magnificent this season. We're playing with time in a very unique way. The characters are changing from what you have seen before. That's all I can tell you for now."
Fear the Walking Dead continues on AMC in the US next Sunday, May 6 at 10/9c. The new season continues tonight (Monday, April 30) at 9pm on AMC on BT TV in the UK.
