The dust has only just settled from the bloody turf warfare in Fear the Walking Dead's autumn season, but the bloodshed will only continue.

The packed crowd in Hall H were the first to see a brand new trailer - which you can now watch below - previewing season 3-B, which looks to be about as tense as imaginable as Madison leads the efforts to coexist with the Hopi tribe.

With food and water becoming more and more scarce, Madison makes a decision that has dire consequences for her son Nick and also has the potential to ignite all-out warfare once again.

Last month's finale left Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) in a truly dark place, after orchestrating the murder of Jeremiah Otto (Dayton Callie) in order to make peace with the Hopi (and save her own skin).

But the most shocking turn of events wasn't Otto's beheading, it was Madison's admission that she identifies with sadistic killer Troy (Daniel Sharman) because she killed her abusive father as a girl.

The ramifications from that terrifying revelation will clearly be felt in the mid-season premiere as Madison continues influencing her already-unstable son Nick (Frank Dillane) to embrace his own killer instinct.

Fear the Walking Dead is still reeling following the departure of mainstay Cliff Curtis, whose character Travis was killed off earlier than producers originally intended.

"I think there was a version of the story in which we didn't lose Travis until later," showrunner Dave Erickson recently revealed.

"I think one of the positives, and there's certain pros and cons regardless, but what it forced us to do is really have Madison arrive."

Madison's arrival continues when Fear the Walking Dead returns on Sunday, September 10 in the US on AMC and Monday, September 11 on AMC UK.
