Fear the Walking Dead producer backs TWD crossover
The Walking Dead is crossing over with Fear the Walking Dead – and one person who is looking forward to it is producer Greg Nicotero.
Nicotero, who works on both shows, addressed the popular fan theory that the crossover will involve The Walking Dead character Abraham Ford appearing in prequel series Fear, showing his backstory before he met up with Eugene Porter and Rosita Espinosa (and later Rick Grimes' crew).
"I love the Abraham theory," the director told ComicBook.com. "I think it's super smart."

While remaining coy about how much truth there is in the speculation, Nicotero confirmed that the crossover has "been in the works for a little while".
To recap, people think the late Abraham will be the character crossing over for a few reasons.
1) Abraham grew up and lived in Houston, Texas, which is north of Mexico. Fear season three was set in Mexico.
