Fear the Walking Dead's new season is on its way and we've just found out a huge piece of information regarding the eighth and final instalment – the story features a seven-year time-jump.

The final season will follow Lennie James' Morgan and Kim Dickens' Madison setting out to rescue an eight-year-old Mo from the tyrannical rule of PADRE. In the process, they will try to reignite fellow survivors' belief in a better world.

That means that the age of Mo, who was previously a baby in season seven, confirms that there is a seven-year time jump. Previously, The Walking Dead featured a six-year time jump early on in season nine.
