Fed up Edinburgh drivers stuck in 'manic' queues AGAIN at Cameron Toll roundabout
Edinburgh motorists have yet again been stuck in huge queues at Cameron Toll following a 'partial closure'.
Roads at the busy shopping centre and around the area has been plagued with issues throughout the year after a damaged water culvert at the roundabout initially saw it closed between February and May.
On Thursday afternoon, November 28, drivers described the scenes as a "shambles" as traffic came to a gridlock around 1pm.

It comes after Cameron Toll roundabout was partially closed while Scottish Water investigate a sewage issue between Lady Road and Dalkeith Road. A lane closure was put in place while work was carried out.
One driver, Lorraine, described the scenes as "manic". Speaking to Edinburgh Live, she said: "Absolute shambles at Cameron Toll today. Now can't move in shopping centre car park.
"No traffic controls in place while there are two lots of roadworks. It was manic. The one on Dalkeith Road was a joke."
Ian Murray MP warned motorists and locals of the news. He wrote on social media: "CAMERON TOLL ROUNDABOUT PARTIAL CLOSURE.
"I've just received news that Cameron Toll roundabout is once again partially closed today while Scottish Water investigate a sewage issue. I'm trying to get more information and will report back when I have it...
"Scottish Water have said: "We are carrying out urgent investigation work at Cameron Toll in Edinburgh.
"We were alerted to an issue with the sewer under the section of the roundabout between Lady Road and Dalkeith Road where a lane closure is in place to allow us to work safely.
"We appreciate how busy the location is and how important it is particularly for the shopping centre. Everything will be done to keep disruption to a minimum.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding."
On November 9 we reported Scottish Gas Network began work on the roundabout at Cameron Toll at the end of August 2024 which sparked traffic chaos for those in the area.
The closure impacted traffic approaching Cameron Toll roundabout from Lady Road, Peffermill Road and Old Dalkeith Road.
Cameron Toll Shopping Centre acknowledged shoppers had been put off from visiting the retail park due to the roadworks but encouraged those staying away to return to businesses now the SGN works had stopped.
In a statement on social media, a spokesperson for the shopping centre said: "We’re really pleased to say that Scotia Gas Networks (SGN) have confirmed to us that the critical repairs to the gas network between Old Dalkeith Road, Lady Road, and Dalkeith Road have been successfully completed and that the road restrictions have been removed.
