When Federico Chiesa could make Liverpool debut as four possibilities emerge
Liverpool fans will be looking forward to seeing summer signing Federico Chiesa in action in the near future. The Italy international is yet to make his debut since his arrival from Juventus in the summer as part of a £12.5 million deal.
Chiesa was spotted at Old Trafford to watch Liverpool beat Manchester United 3-0 before the international break. The 26-year-old was signed in time to feature in the match but was not involved as he continues to build up his fitness.
The international break has presented Chiesa with the opportunity to work at the AXA Training Centre after not having a full pre-season while at Juventus earlier in the summer. Chiesa trained with Liverpool's Under-21s where he impressed the coaching staff, and has now reunited with the first team following their return from international duty.

Saturday sees Liverpool face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League in the first fixture after the international break. Reds head coach Arne Slot hinted that he may not make many changes from the team that beat United before the two-week hiatus.
Should Chiesa not be involved against Forest, or be an unused substitute on the bench, then there are still plenty of opportunities for the forward to make his debut. Liverpool have a busy fixture list that includes seven matches in the space of 22 days.
After taking on Forest, Liverpool will be in Champions League action on Tuesday night in the trip to AC Milan. Chiesa could be involved in that game on his return to Italy, but if not, there is another Premier League match around the corner.
Liverpool will host Bournemouth at Anfield next weekend. Even if Chiesa does not play in that game, the former Juventus star could then make his debut against West Ham in the Carabao Cup the following midweek on September 25.
