Federico Chiesa's Armani model wife and luxury wedding as Liverpool FC close in on signing
Federico Chiesa looks set to become Liverpool FC's second signing of the summer transfer window. The Reds are closing in on a deal to sign the winger from Juventus in a transfer worth close to £11m.
The Italy international missed much of 2022 with cruciate ligament damage but made 37 appearances in all competitions for Juventus last season, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists. He also played four times for Italy at the European Championships earlier this summer.
It has also been a big summer away from the pitch for Chiesa as he married his long-term partner, Lucia Bramani. The two tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at the Grosseto Cathedral in Tuscany last month.
The happy couple shared updates around the incredible celebrations with their followers on Instagram. Andrea Pirlo's son, Nicolo, was one of the attendees at the incredible wedding that included an amazing party against the backdrop of the beautiful Tuscan hills.
Chiesa and Lucia shared their first updates together in April 2022. They got engaged in Venice last year as Chiesa shared a snap of Lucia proudly showing off a luxurious ring. A translation of the post said: "She said YES!"
The 26-year-old was flooded with messages of support after the update. Lucia has build up 235,000 followers on Instagram and is a model represented by Elite Model World.
She has shared details of campaigns she has been involved and has modelled for brands such as Pollini, Bikini Lovers and Emporio Armani. Lucia is also a psychology graduate from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Chiesa shared a proud update of the two after the graduation ceremony. A translation of the caption said: "Doctor." Many fans took to the comments to send messages of support after the update.
Chiesa is a versatile forward player who can operate across the frontline and it is thought he will depth to an already-impressive array of forwards at Slot's disposal. His ability to perform on the right could also see 32-year-old Mohamed Salah rested more frequently without too much of a drop-off in quality.
The winger spoke to Italian reporters as he jetted off from Turin to Merseyside. He said: “I’m very happy, I can’t wait to become new Liverpool player. Me and my family, we’re so happy really."
“Let me say thanks to Juventus and the fans, they have been always special with me. Now it’s time for Liverpool, I’m so happy. I can’t wait!"
