The Three Lions eased to victory in Saturday evening’s quarter-final in Rome and the team’s stars celebrated their feat on social media.
“Another massive win and now back to Wembley for the semis. Let's go!!”
Meanwhile, Harry Maguire - who put England 2-0 ahead early in the second half - opted for a simpler message of “WHAT A FEELING”, alongside a photo of him celebrating his goal.
Other players, including Manchester City’s Kyle Walker, took the opportunity to praise England’s army of ex-pats for their backing inside Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.
He tweeted: “Brilliant performance by the boys tonight! Another clean sheet. Let’s keep it going, Semi Final on Wednesday.
“Thank you all for the support as always!”
Kieran Trippier, who came on as a substitute during the match, echoed his team-mate’s sentiment.
He wrote: “Buzzing to be in the semi final. Another brilliant performance by everyone. The England support we have had this week has been amazing, thank you everyone. See you all Wednesday.”
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson, who scored his first ever goal for England as he headed in the fourth, urged the squad to keep its focus ahead of Wednesday night.
He said: “Means everything to get on the scoresheet for my country! In a Euros quarter-final is even better. Lads were outstanding. Full focus on the semis!”.
The Three Lions now face Denmark on Wednesday at Wembley Stadium for a place in the Euro 2020 final - to be played at the same venue on Sunday - and a first major tournament final appearance in 55 years.
West Ham United’s Declan Rice, from Kingston-upon-Thames, wrote: “Job done in Rome. Into the Semis. Let’s go.”
The match was once again watched by a bumper TV audience of more than 20 million people in the UK.
While England fans were unable to travel to Italy from the UK because of Covid restrictions and Brexit, the team was backed by thousands of Brits living in European Union nations.
But there is expected to be a crowd of in excess of 60,000 at Wembley on Wednesday, as well as on Tuesday when Spain take on Italy in the other semi-final.
