Femme Fatale Britney To Tour UK In Autumn

Britney Spears has announced that she will be bringing her world tour to the UK in October.

It will be the first time she has appeared in Britain since 2009, when she was criticised for miming on stage.

The Till The World Ends singer has confirmed a full list of dates for her Femme Fatale tour, kicking off in Belfast on October 25 and finishing in Manchester on November 6.

Spears, who will also visit Birmingham and London, said: "I can't wait to come back to the UK and perform for my fans there, it's been too long!"

The 29-year old last performed in the UK back in 2009 on her Circus Tour which grossed $120m (£73m) .

The singer faced criticism for lip-syncing and only performing one live track.

However, celebrity agent Jonathan Shalit, who discovered Charlotte Church, told Sky News Online that he believes Britney's tour will be a huge success.

"Britney is a global superstar, on Twitter alone she has over 8 million followers.

"In truth most acts mime when they perform, and since her last UK tour she has gone on to have successful shows across the world.

"I have no doubt this one will be a total sell-out."

The tour dates are:

Belfast Odyssey Arena - 25 October
London O2 Arena - 28 October
Birmingham LG Arena - 30 + 31 October
London O2 Arena - 2 + 3 November
Manchester MEN Arena - 6 November

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, June 10.
