Fenerbahce have no interest in signing Manchester United winger Antony.

Antony, 24, has made one substitute appearance so far this season and scored a meagre three goals last term.

The Turkish Super Lig transfer window closes on September 13 and, despite widespread speculation, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is not interested in Antony. United face Fenerbahce in the Europa League in Istanbul next month.

Antony joined United from Ajax in 2022 for a fee rising to €100million and he has contributed only 11 goals in 83 appearances.

United negotiated Jadon Sancho's season-long loan to Chelsea that includes an obligation to buy on transfer deadline day partly because they have four other wingers.

Amad has ousted Antony as United's natural left-footed right winger while Alejandro Garnacho started on the right-hand side in the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on September 1.

Due to the initial £81.3m fee United paid Ajax two years ago, they would have had to have received £48.78m in the summer transfer window to have sold Antony and avoided a loss under the Premier League's profitability and sustainability rules.

Under the practice of amortisation, a player's fee is spread across the length of their contract and Antony inked a five-year deal with United. If United are to sell Antony next year, they would likely require a fee of £32.52m.
