Ferguson And Giggs Win Premier League Awards

Sir Alex Ferguson and Ryan Giggs have been honoured with awards that reflect Manchester United's dominance of the Premier League.

Sir Alex has been voted the best manager in the first 20 years of the Premier League, while Giggs was selected as the greatest player.

Sir Alex has led United to the title 12 times but lost this year's championship to Manchester City on goal difference.

The 38 year old Giggs has played in all of United's championship winning sides and is the most decorated player in British football history. He has made 598 Premier League appearances, has scored in all 20 seasons and will play for United again next season.

Giggs was one of seven Manchester United players named in a fantasy Premier League team.

Votes were cast by a panel of experts.
