Art and music festival Festival No. 6 has confirmed its 2018 line-up, revealing that Franz Ferdinand and Friendly Fires will be joining previously-announced The The as the official music headliners.
Held in Portmeirion in North Wales in September, Festival No. 6 returns for the seventh year in 2018 and will serve as indie band Friendly Fires' big comeback to the music world after a brief hiatus.
During their headline set they promise to "herald in a new era" by showcasing brand new tracks in a spectacular live show.

Headliners Franz Ferdinand, Friendly Fires and The The will also be joined by big names like The Charlatans, Jessie Ware, Everything Everything and Django Django.
"We always aim to raise the bar with our programme," said Festival No. 6 manager Luke Huxham in a statement.
"Our mandate is to deliver a diverse but coherent line-up combining stone-cold legends like The The with the cream of emerging talent and this year is no exception.
"The festival goes from strength to strength and we still have an enormous amount of talent in music, arts, culture and food still to reveal. The seventh Festival No.6 is going to be truly incredible. We can't wait!"
Alongside the music line-up, Festival No.6 has confirmed appearances from bestselling author Will Self as well as Suggs, the lead singer of Madness, performing his new one-man show What a King Cnut – A Life in the Realm of Madness.
The festival will also mark 100 years since women won the vote with Stealing Sheep's Suffragette Procession, curated by the all-female Liverpool band.
Festival No. 6 takes place between September 6 and September 9 in Portmerion, and tickets will be available to purchase tomorrow (Wednesday, February 14) right here.
