Fifty Shades' Jamie Dornan is done tying women to beds

From Digital Spy

Jamie Dornan has made a career of exploring the darker side of sex, but now he's looking for something a bit lighter.

The 34-year-old Northern Irish actor has put two troubling characters to bed over the last year, having finished work on two Fifty Shades sequels and wrapped playing a sex-obsessed serial killer in The Fall.

"I'd like to have a job where I don't have to tie women to beds," he recently joked to heatworld.

Ask and he shall receive, as Jamie will next play the dashing Merry Man Will Scarlet opposite Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx in the upcoming reboot of the Robin Hood film series.

"My greatest fear is doing the same thing over and over," he said of his new part. "I've never done anything like this role before, and that is a huge attraction for me."

Mr Grey still has love for his Fifty Shades co-stars, and even credits the erotic movies with helping him conquer his fear of shooting sex scenes.

"It's actually funny how unafraid of them I am now," he teased. "Even the idea was terrifying before. Now, not so much."

Dornan has one more turn as Mr Grey on the way in Fifty Shades Freed, which was shot back-to-back with the most recent sequel.

Fifty Shades Darker is now playing in US and UK cinemas, and Fifty Shades Freed follows in 2018.
