Dwayne Johnson has teased another look at his upcoming film Fighting With My Family.

The 46-year-old actor shared a fresh insight into the drama, which tells the true story of WWE professional wrestler Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Belvis.

Johnson has since posted a poster for the film, showcasing all members of the family standing outside their home.

Sharing the news on social media, he wrote: “New poster for our lil’ crazy comedy based on the true story of @WWE’s @RealPaigeWWE & her wrestling family. Honour for me to play a small part in Paige’s career defining moment, as well as bringing her family’s story to the big screen.”

He also revealed the film would hit screens in February next year in the US, with the date being unveiled on the new poster.

Excited fans were quick to tell the Baywatch actor that they were eagerly anticipating the “golden hit.”

One user wrote: “It looks great!”

Whilst a second added: “Waiting…”

Another posted: “Another golden hit.”

In the film, the Belvis family are all professional wrestlers and are forced to work through a string of problems that arise when brother and sister duo Saraya and Zak audition for roles in the prestigious WWE.

Last month, Johnson revealed news of the project to fans online, in a post, reading: “In 2012 I watched a documentary about a young, unknown British female pro wrestler & her wonderfully crazy and loving wrestling family.

“I loved it and instantly identified with her and her family — because it reminded me of MY wonderfully, loving and f****** crazy wrestling family. Many of you know my history. I knew it was a story that I had to tell along with our @sevenbucksprod team.”

He added: “That girl who I saw in that documentary would go on to superstardom as the @RealPaigeWWE along with her relentless female co-workers wound help redefine and usher the spectacular @WWE women’s wrestling the world enjoys today.”

The film stars Johnson as himself and alter-ego wrestling champion The Rock, Florence Pugh as the leading role of Paige, Jack Lowden as her older brother and Nick Frost as father to the pair.

Fighting With My Family is expected to hit UK cinemas in March 2019.
