Filton crash: Two people seriously injured after collision on A38

Two people were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Filton this afternoon (Wednesday, May 29). Emergency services were called to the A38 Gloucester Road North shortly before 1pm.

The road is now closed in both directions while investigation work takes place. Police are appealing to the public for information on the crash.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "We are at the scene of a collision on A38 Gloucester Road North, in Filton, South Gloucestershire, this afternoon (Wednesday 29 May). Two people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"Emergency services remain on the scene carrying out enquiries. The road is currently closed in both directions; inbound from Gipsy Patch Lane to Filton Avenue and outbound from Filton Roundabout to Gipsy Patch Lane.
