Fire Burning Inside Phosphorus Container Extinguished at Italian Port

A fire burning inside a container containing phosphorus was extinguished by firefighters at a port in Catania, Italy, on the morning of Friday, September 17.

The blaze broke out on Thursday evening, according to La Stampa, on a Liberian-flagged cargo ship at the entrance to the port.
