Fire Crews Work to Contain Mountain Fire in Northern California

The Mountain fire burning in California’s Siskiyou County burned 6,451 acres and was five percent contained by Sunday, September 4, according to Cal Fire.

By Sunday morning, 844 personnel had been deployed to battle the fire and the cause of it was still under investigation.

According to the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office, several areas remained under mandatory evacuation orders on Saturday.
