A roofing warehouse on Broadway in Macon, Georgia, went up in flames early Sunday, March 19.
The Macon Telegraph reported fire crews responded to the call at 7:30 am, and flames could be seen shooting out of the building. Additional units were called, and firefighters on aerial ladders contained the outside of the building.
A transformer blew, causing alarms to ring down the street. Much of Broadway was closed on Sunday so fire crews could extinguish hot spots inside the building. Credit: Twitter/Shane Shifflett via Storyful
