Fire Engulfs Vacant Heritage Building in Downtown Toronto

Toronto fire crews responded to a two-alarm fire downtown around 11.30 am on Monday, March 23, local media reported.

A call came in just before noon reporting a blaze at a boarded-up heritage building near Spadina Avenue and Wellington Street West.

The Toronto Fire Service reported that explosions were heard inside the building, which was believed to be vacant, reports said.
