Fire at Kensington shop with flats above under investigation
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters rushed to a huge shop fire with flats above in Kensington. Crews were called to Gloucester Road at around 9.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, December 11).
The fire broke out at a mid terraced shop with flats above it and part of the building was damaged by the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The fire was under control by around 10.30pm and its cause is under investigation.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: "Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a mid terraced shop with dwellings above on Gloucester Road in Kensington.
"Part of the building was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries. Control Officers received the call at 2135 and mobilised crews from Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
"The fire was under control by 2228. The cause of the fire is under investigation."
