Fire Near Glenwood Springs Grows to 1,300 Acres, Closing Interstate

The Grizzly Creek Fire in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, grew to 1,300 acres in a single day on August 10, with 60 firefighters and air support responding.

The fire forced the closure of Interstate 70 in both directions, local fire officials said.
