Fire Near New South Wales Town 'Being Controlled' After Emergency Warning

An emergency warning for residents in the New South Wales town of Kearsley was downgraded on Tuesday, October 3, as firefighters said a bushfire was “being controlled”.

The New South Wales Rural Fire Service was advising locals to continue to monitor the conditions.
