A large fire tore through a marina building containing around 80 boats and Jet Skis in the Spanish resort town of Marbella on Wednesday evening, January 11, local officials said.
The Marbella Town Council said the intense blaze at La Bajadilla fishing marina was fueled by materials such as plastic and fuel and caused parts of the building to collapse.
Thirty firefighters and a dozen fire trucks were dispatched to control the blaze, according to officials.
Mayor Angeles Munoz said fire crews contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to boats moored at the marina or neighboring buildings.
