Firefighters Allow Trailer to Burn During Brush Fire

A brush fire in Immokalee, Florida, on April 5 destroyed an abandoned trailer and consumed 2.5 acres. The Immokalee Fire Control District released aerial video of the brush fire on Monday.

Property owners told firefighters the trailer was old and abandoned and could burn down if necessary, officials said. Due to a lack of water, firefighters allowed it to burn while monitoring the area so the fire did not spread further. Credit: Immokalee Fire Control District via Storyful
