Firefighters Battle Beckwourth Complex Fire in Doyle, California

Parts of Doyle, California, were left in ruins after the Beckwourth Complex Fire raced through and burnt down structures in the area on Saturday, July 10.

This footage, taken by firefighter Daniel Magallanes, shows crews responding to the blaze as it encroached on buildings in Doyle.

The Beckwourth Complex Fire was formed after the Sugar and Dotta fires merged near California’s border with Nevada. As of July 12, the combined blaze was measured at 89,748 acres, with 23 percent containment, according to officials. Credit: Daniel Magallanes via Storyful
