Firefighters Conduct Evacuations Following Deadly Sichuan Earthquake

The death toll from the 6.6-magnitude earthquake that rocked Sichuan, China, on September 5 had risen to 74 two days later, state media reported.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was southwest of Sichuan’s capital Chengdu.
