Firefighters battling the Pujerra Wildfire in Spain conducted water drops on Friday, June 10, as efforts continued to fully extinguish the blaze.
INFOCA, the Forest Fire Extinction Service in Andalucia, said on Friday that the 3,500 hectare fire was stabilized, though not yet under control.
Andalucia Informacion reported that affected residents, numbering a total of 2,000 people, had been allowed to return to their homes after the fire was no longer impacting urban areas.
