Firefighters Deployed to Tackle Wildfire in Southern France

A hundred firefighters were deployed to tackle a wildfire that broke out in the town of Auriol in southern France on Thursday afternoon, August 24, local fire services said.

This video showing smoke billowing was filmed by Nasca Jean-Baptiste, who said it was filmed in Auriol, a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhone department.
