A spokesman said: "We were called to Iron Place, in Etruria, following reports of a small fire in a wasteland. Firefighters used backpacks to extinguish the fire. They are often used to spray water onto fires that are situated in difficult terrain and out of reach of fire engines. No-one was in the area at the time and no-one was reported injured."
