Firefighters Use Helicopters to Battle Oak Fire Through the Night

Firefighters used helicopters to battle the Oak Fire in Mariposa County, California, as seen in footage released on July 29.

In a Twitter post, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection highlighted the capabilities of modern helicopter technology, and said, “Night flying technology provides us another tool to tackle wildfires after dark.”
