Firefighters Rescue Man Stranded by Floodwaters as Storms Ravage Southeastern Spain

At least five people have died as a result of storms along the eastern coast of Spain since September 12. Footage seen here shows a man being rescued from the roof of his car by firefighters on September 13, next to a rail tunnel in Murcia.

The severe stormy weather, referred to locally as “gota fría”, had been forecast for the southeast of Spain for September 12 and 13.
