Firefighters Rescue Stranded People During Flooding in Beijing

Firefighters in Beijing rescued people stranded during flooding on July 18. The flooding was brought on by heavy rains, officials said.

This video, posted to Douyin by Beijing Fire, shows three men stranded due to flooding being rescued. The rescue team uses a combination of a motorized boat and ropes to traverse the floodwater.

At least 21 rivers in China have flooded in recent rains, the South China Morning Post said.
