Firefighters Spray Water Arch to Farewell Olympic Swimmers Departing From Las Vegas

Clark County Firefighters at fired off a water arch at a plane departing Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport to salute two swimmers who left home to Oahu to train for the Tokyo Olympic Games on June 24.

Mark Treglio was on the flight to Hawaii when he took this video of water being spraying onto his window. McCarran International Airport spokesperson Joseph Rajchel confirmed a water arch was provided by firefighters.

According to a Hawaiian Airlines Twitter post, two members of the US Olympic Swim Team, Bella Sims and Katie Grimes, were on the plane.
