Firefighting Aircraft Drops Retardant Close to Homes South of Denver

A firefighting aircraft flew low to drop flame retardant on a wildfire burning near homes in Douglas County, Colorado, south of Denver on June 28.

Residents were told to evacuate after the wildfire broke out at around 10 am local time. The fire was announced as contained by 5 pm.
